Second Transnational Partner Meeting

This meeting took place in Skopje between 23-26 April 2024. The meeting focused on presenting and evaluating the research results, reviewing methodological approaches, and co-designing the Training Format based on Education Through Sport principles. Partners engaged in workshops and brainstorming sessions to enhance the materials and define the structure of the pilot activities.

Sport Events

Each project partner organised one- or two-day sport events engaging around 30 young participants from sport clubs, schools, and local associations. Through sport-based and non-formal education activities, the events promoted teamwork, inclusion, and intercultural dialogue. Participants were actively involved in co-creating audiovisual materials, which later contributed to the project’s online awareness-raising campaigns.

EduLab (Italy) organised two local events on 29 April and 2 June 2025, held at the Old Civic Market and a local high school in Nuoro. The activities engaged 30 young people in ETS-based workshops and group discussions addressing issues of radicalisation and discrimination.

Karate Klub Metalurg Skopje (North Macedonia) delivered two events on 9 and 30 June 2025 at the Avtokomanda Sports Centre, involving 30 young participants in martial arts demonstrations, mixed-team sports activities, and guided reflection sessions focused on tolerance and diversity.

MV International (Italy) implemented two awareness-raising events on 30 May 2025 in two different high schools, reaching over 30 students through interactive team-building activities and inclusion-focused sport sessions.

KS Beniaminek 03 (Poland) organised one local event in June 2025, combining sport activities with non-formal education workshops. During the event, participants co-created short videos illustrating inclusive and non-inclusive behaviours in sport, reinforcing key project messages through peer-to-peer learning.

Final Sports Event

The final event of the SPEAR 2.0 project brought together young people and partners at Alghero,Italy on 2nd of October 2025.

Participants joined two friendly sport tournaments, forming mixed teams of European youth and youngsters with migrant backgrounds to promote teamwork, mutual respect, and the use of sport as a tool against radicalisation.

In the afternoon, the SPEAR 2.0 Conference highlighted the outcomes of the project, featuring inspiring presentations by project ambassadors and contributions from partners. Together, they shared powerful messages on the importance of education, dialogue, and community engagement in building inclusive and cohesive societies.
